Last week, we had reported that Ayushmann Khurrana will be introduced in and as Dream Girl. While we are yet to know further details of this quirky film, we surely know that we can expect the actor to do something hatke yet again. A source close to the development spoke about the recently released first look from the film saying, “The first look sees Ayushmann Khurrana sitting on a bike wearing a t-shirt and yellow saree along with yellow bangles. While his avatar as a lady is hilarious, his expressions are somewhat confused.”
On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana took to Twitter to announce about the poster. He said, “As whacky as it can get! Here’s the first glimpse of my look in and as #DreamGirl. Thoughts?”
Well, yet intriguing fact about the film is also the cast. We will see the Badhaai Ho actor being paired up with the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star Nushrat Bharucha for the first time. The film is directed by debutant Raaj Shaandilyaa who has been a popular writer and it is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Besides this, producer Ekta too took to YouTube to share an interesting video of Dream Girl. The said video features Ayushmann introducing his new film after having a discussion with his team on varied kinds of films that he can do next. The video is a humourous take on how similar scripts are offered to actors after their success in particular genres and how Ayushmann decides to go for Dream Girl as his next.
