Neetu Kapoor remembers mother-in-law Krishna Raj Kapoor in a heartfelt post after missing the funeral
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of the legendary filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor, passed away on Monday morning, October 1 in Mumbai. She was 88 years old and passed away around 5 am in the morning. Friends, family and Bollywood celebrities all came to the Kapoor residence to pay their final respects to her. While many were in attendance, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were missing from the last rites.
As it turns out, Rishi Kapoor recently informed that he was heading to the United States for medical treatment and that he will keep everyone updated about it. Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir have accompanied Rishi to the US.
Unable to attend the funeral and bid goodbye to her mother-in-law, Neetu shared a heartfelt post with a lovely photograph with Krishna Raj Kapoor. “She was such a huge influence in my life. Admired her elegance, wit, generosity and warmth. She will always stay in my heart. No one like her. Best human being, loved her. Best friend,” Neetu wrote alongside a picture of herself with Krishna.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Rima Jain and the Kapoor – Jain- Nanda family received support from their friends, colleagues and B-town friends. Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many more were in attendance for the final rites of Krishna Raj Kapoor.
