Kajol and Ajay Devgn had a gala time on the sets of Indian Idol and here are the details
Kajol and Ajay Devgn are all set to come together for work purposes. The two brilliant actors however will not be acting together. For the uninitiated, Ajay Devgn is producing the Kajol starrer Helicopter Eela. After a short setback, the film’s release date has been shifted to next week. Keeping in mind the same, the promotions too are currently on in full swing. For the same, they visited the sets of Indian Idol.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, Helicopter Eela will see Kajol in the role of a single parent who joins as a student in the same college as her son played by Riddhi Sen. She decides to complete education along with her son. At the same time, she plays a quintessential mother who likes to stalk her son and keep a track of his activities. Promoting the film on the sets of Indian Idol, the power couple of Bollywood, Kajol and Ajay Devgn were showered with lots of love and respect during their stint in the music reality show.
We hear that Kajol was also left mesmerized with the abundant talent on the show. At the same time, the host of the show, Maniesh Paul too seems to have impressed the actress with ‘Sooraj Hua Maddham’ [Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham] but not without taking Ajay Devgn’s permission to do so. On the other hand, it is also being said that Ajay played along as the possessive husband who decided to break a bottle on the host’s head. All in fun, of course!
But it has been learnt that there were some serious moments too wherein Ajay Devgn shared something very close to his heart to one of the contestants who has weak eyesight wherein he confessed that he too has a similar problem. Besides that, the chirpy actress is said to have kept the mood alive as she revealed in a quirky way that her introvert husband fell in love with her constant chatter.
Coming to Helicopter Eela, the film is an adaptation of the play Beta, Kagdo and it is slated to release on October 12.
